Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) said that 2014 has been an excellent year for the company and it achieved the highest market share of 21.6% for the first time in India. The Korean automajor's Indian arm also said it has surpassed its target of selling 4 lakh vehicles in the domestic market.
Bo Shin Seo, managing director and CEO, HMIL, commented that 2014 has been an excellent year for Hyundai Motor India. The company recorded sales in 2014 at over 4.10 lakh units driven by growth across segments
He claimed that the company's products have witnessed good success in the respective segments.

He said network presence is one of the key strengths for the company, which it intends to grow further in 2015 with new products slated to be launched next year.
