IT company 3i Infotech Ltd has acquired a majority stake of 51 per cent in Fineng Solutions Pvt Ltd (FinEng) with a commitment to acquire remaining stake in two tranches over a period.

</p><p class='TableClas'>It owns certain proprietary software providing various business solutions in the financial sector, namely in the Mutual Fund segment, Wealth Management and credit risk space, it added.</P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>At present, 3i Infotech scrip was trading at Rs 112 for a share, 3.2 per cent up over previous close, on the&nbsp; BSE.</P></p></table>
