3i Infotech has acquired Hyderabad-based SDG Software Technologies.

According to a release issued by 3i Infotech to the BSE today, SDG has an annual revenue of approximately Rs 10 crore.

"With this acquisition, 3i Infotech has acquired BankAlert and Advance Warning And Control System (AWACS) software for banking and financial solutions," the release added.

"We believe BankAlert, the anti-money laundering (AML) product, will fill a gap in our banking product space, which, in turn, will help us further penetrate the banking industry. With the addition of SDG Software Technologies's products for the capital market, our offerings in the banking and financial solutions product space will also increase," V Srinivasan, managing director and CEO of 3i Infotech, said.
