IT solutions provider 3i Infotech today said Pankaj Chawla has been elevated as President of its India, Middle-East, APAC and Africa markets.
Earlier, Chawla was Head of Middle East (West Asia), Africa, Russia and CIS regions.
In his new position, Chawla will be in charge of 3i Infotech's business operations across significant markets which account for around 40 per cent of the company's global revenue, a release said here.
Prior to joining 3i Infotech, Chawla served as Managing Director of LogicaCMG for South Asia. He has also worked with firms like General Electric and Satyam Computer.
3i Infotech Managing Director and Global CEO V Srinivasan, said, "Pankaj has consistently proved his significant experience and expertise. We are confident that with his effective leadership skills and deep IT knowledge, he will further accelerate the growth of 3i Infotech in these fast growing markets."
In the South-Asia region, Chawla will be assisted by Narayan V, who has been assigned the role of Region Head–South Asia, it added.
