3i Infotech Q3 net up 78%

3i Infotech today reported a 77.6% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 49.6 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007.

According to a release issued by the company today,  revenue for the quarter was Rs 323.4 crore - an year-on-year increase of 82%.

V Srinivasan, managing director  & CEO, 3i Infotech, said: "The quarter has seen good growth in revenue and profits in line with our business plans. While international market dynamics pressurised businesses the world over, our balanced global growth with a de-risked business model has helped us in continuing to grow without being significantly impacted by these events."
