Software services provider 3i Infotech today said its consolidated net profit rose 20.97% and stood at Rs 63.97 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
The company had a net profit of Rs 52.88 crore in the July-September quarter previous fiscal, 3i Infotech said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
"Figures for the previous year/period are not comparable in view of interalia acquisitions/ divestments of subsidiaries," the company said.
Net sales stood at Rs 643.38 crore in the quarter ended September 30, while it had a net sales of Rs 626.26 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
The cash and bank balances stood at Rs 168.92 crore during the quarter under review.
Besides in another filing on the BSE, the company has informed Anirudh Prabhakaran, Executive Director of the company stepped down from the board and the board of the company has approved the merger of FinEng Solutions Pvt Ltd, wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Shares of 3i Infotech were trading at Rs 68.15 on the BSE, down 0.73 per cent from the previous close.
