The sub-station, which will be inaugurated next week, will cater to the power requirements of Haibowal Dairy Complex, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Sher-e-Punjab Nagar, Malikpur and village Rajowal "" apart from the pumping station.

Chief Engineer KD Chaudhary said that the grid will supply power for the sewage water treatment plant.
