The Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) is installing a 66 KV sub-station in Balloke village to meet the requirements of the sewerage water treatment plant. The plant will also cater to the needs of five nearby localities. |
The PSEB had purchased 2,500 square yards of land six months ago, although electricity connection was applied for in 2005. The sub-station, which will be inaugurated next week, will cater to the power requirements of Haibowal Dairy Complex, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Sher-e-Punjab Nagar, Malikpur and village Rajowal "" apart from the pumping station. |
