No Kingfisher Airlines (launched in 2005) aircraft has taken to the skies over the past year since a lockout and suspension of its permit. On October 1, 2012, the airline's engineers and pilots struck work, triggering its biggest crisis till date. Initially, the airline said operations would be suspended for three days; gradually, it extended the lockout.
