Aban Loyd gets Rs 100cr OVL deal

Aban Loyd Chiles Offshore said that its rig Aban VII has received a notification of award (NOA) for the development at Offshore Qatar from ONGC Videsh (OVL) for approximately four months.

According to a release issued by Aban to the BSE today, the total revenue under the contract would be approximately Rs 100 crore. "The operations under the new contract is expected to commence by March 2007 after the completion of the contract with Hindustan Oil Exploration Company," the release added.
