Aban Offshore FY11 net down 53% at Rs 145 cr

Aban Offshore today reported a dip of 53.39% in its consolidated net profit at Rs 144.94 crore for the year 2010-11.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 311 crore in 2009-10, it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Total consolidated income of the company also declined marginally by 0.34% at Rs 3,347.22 crore during the year as compared to Rs 3,358.65 crore it had reported in FY10, the filing said.

The company's board recommended dividend of 2.80 times on the equity share capital of the company, it said, adding that it holds three different types of non-convertible cumulative redeemable preference shares, which have been recommended to get dividends at the rates of 8%, 9% and 9.25%, respectively.

 

Shares of the company declined today by 0.48% to settle at Rs 541.40 on the BSE.
