Aban Offshore net rises 7% to Rs 87 cr

Chennai-based drilling company Aban Offshore Limited has posted a 7 per cent growth in the net profit for the quarter ended September 30,2009 to Rs 87.33 crore as compared to a profit of Rs 81.34 crore in the same quarter last year.

The net sales of the company decreased to Rs 272.38 crore as compared to Rs 282.06 crore in the year ago period.

The total expenditure of the company has also decreased to Rs 111.73 crore as compared to  Rs 127.03 crore in the same period last year.
