Offshore drilling services provider Aban Offshore today said it has repaid bonds worth Rs 800 crore along with accrued interest.
The company in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange said that its wholly-owned subsidiary Sinvest AS have redeemed bonds having a principal amount aggregating to Norwegian Kroner 1 billion (equivalent to Rs 800 crore).
The bonds are repaid on the due date of December 22, 2009, along with the accrued interest.
Shares of Aban Offshore were trading at Rs 1,208.15 on BSE, up 4.11 per cent from previous close.
