ABB Q1 net jumps 62.62%

ABB has posted a 62.62% increase in net profit to Rs 27.50 crore for the first quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 16.91 crore in the year-ago period.

According to a release issued by ABB to the BSE, total income has increased 38% to Rs 619.60 crore for the first quarter against Rs 448.93 crore in corresponding quarter last year.
