ABG Shipyard gets Rs 98cr order from Dutch firm

ABG Shipyard has secured another order for construction of a vessel at a price of euro 16,590,000 ( about Rs 98 crore) and an option for 78 M LOA diving support vessel at euro 16,540,000 from Vroon Offshore, The Netherlands.

According to an official release issued ot the BSE today, the company is already building one vessel for Vroon Offshore.

This export order is entitled for subsidy as per the prevailing shipbuilding subsidy scheme of the Government of India. The order has to be delivered within 24 months from effective date of contract subject to the availability of engine and propulsion package.

With the above order, the aggregate orders in hand with ABG amount to about Rs 2,300 crore.
