ABG Shipyard Q1 net profit up 3.12% at Rs 41 cr

ABG Shipyard today posted a flat 3.12% growth in net profit at Rs 41.31 crore for the June quarter.

The company, the largest private shipbuilder in the country, had posted a net profit of Rs 40.06 crore in the corresponding period last year.

It posted a healthy 22% increase in total income at Rs 640.64 crore, while operating profit was up by 35.56% at Rs 166.26 crore in the reported period, a statement issued by the company said.

Shares of the company closed today at Rs 355.05 on the BSE, down 0.55% from their previous close.
