ABG threats to stop cargo handling in Haldia

Bulk cargo handlers, ABG group company, operating at two berths in Haldia dock has threatend to terminate operations from September seven. "ABG in a letter to Kolkata Port Trust has said it will stop operating from September 7 citing low cargo flow leading to loss in the two berths it is operating," sources told PTI. They said, ABG was handling 5-5.5 million tonne of cargo and had asked for commitment for nine million tonne in the two berths from KoPT.
