ABRL comes up with new hypermarket in Nashik

Aditya Birla Retail Ltd (ABRL), the retail arm of Aditya Birla Group, has opened its new hypermarket in Nashik city.

It is estimated that the company has made an investment of close to Rs 18 crores.

This new hypermarket, which is located near Trimbak Naka area of Pune offers a retail space of 53,065 sq fts.

With the opening of this new hypermarket in Nashik city, ABRL will now take its count of hypermarkets in the country to 11.

The company has hypermarkets in the cities of Mysore, Vadodara, Aurangabad, Indore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vashi, Thane and two hypermarkets in Delhi.

 

"Our goal is to provide a new shopping experience, offering quality products at affordable prices. It is a one-stop-shop for the entire family and we also offer an extensive range of national and international branded products. The planning and layout of the store has been built in a manner so as to provide a convenient and complete retail solution to the customer," said Thomas Varghese, CEO, ABRL,at the launch of the store in Pune.

"We also offer our own private label brands from personal care, FMCG and other all categories which are of high quality and at affordable prices. Our private label brand products contribute to 20 per cent of our total business," Varghese added.

Nashik's new hypermarket will carry a range of over 16,500 products and shoppers will have the option to choose from fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh live bakery products, fresh meat section , personal care products, youth fashion, luggage, crockery, kids toys, sports, local foods, frozen non-vegetarian and vegetarian, consumer durables, apparels, footwear and more.
