ACC Dec shipments up 14%

ACC has reported a 14.3% increase in December shipments at 1.348 million tonne when compared with 1.179 million tonne in December 2003.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, production moved up 13% to 1.353 million tonne from 1.197 million last year.

Cumulative despatches (April-December 2004) was up 9% at 12.111 million tonne as against 11.150 million tonne. Production was also up 9% at 12.160 million tonne as against 11.152 million tonne.
