ACC declares final dividend of Rs 19/share

With this, the company will end up paying an overall dividend of Rs 30 per share to its shareholders this year

ACC Ltd, India's second largest cement maker and part of the Swiss major Holcim, has declared a final dividend of Rs 19 per share.
 
The company took this decision at its meeting of the board of directors today. ACC is also coming up with CY13 financial results today.
 
The company's managing director had said in the last annual general meeting (AGM) that ACC will continue to be a dividend growth player. The current dividend declaration is in line with that statement.
 
With this, the company will end up paying an overall dividend of Rs 30 per share to its shareholders this year. Last, it was in July that the company had declared an interim dividend of Rs 11 per share.
 
 
On BSE, the stock further gained post this announcement. It was trading at Rs 1,022, up 1.4% at 3:10 pm.
