ACC, Tarmac amalgamation okayed

Leading cement manufacturer, Associated Cement Companies (ACC) has approved the merger of Tarmac India with itself.

According to an official release issued by ACC to the BSE today, the equity shareholders of the company at their court-convened meeting held yesterday approved the amalgamation scheme with requisite majority.
