Accel Frontline bags contracts worth Rs 25 cr in Q3

Company says multiple IT infrastructure management contracts will help it consolidate its position in multi-vendor IT services space

Accel Frontline Limited today informed that during the third quarter it won 30 new IT services contracts worth Rs 25 crore. These includes contracts from city corporations, defence, aerospace and others.

The company said these multiple IT infrastructure management contracts will help the company to consolidate its position in the multi-vendor IT services space.

The contracts includes Rs 4.5 crore worth of contract from one of the corporations, Rs 2 crore each from a defence and aerospace company based in Bangalore and an integrated ICT solutions and services company based in Chennai.

The company also won a service contract worth around Rs 5 crore from a leading South based Bank and a telecom infrastructure solutions company.

 

N R Panicker, executive chairman commented that company's thrust on growing the IMS business in the Indian market has started paying off with some of the contracts by the company. The company believes that the infrastructure management business would continue to grow in India.

AFL, is a joint venture between Accel Ltd and CAC Holdings Corporation, Japan. On March 3, 2014, CAC Holdings Corporation became a majority shareholder of Accel Frontline Ltd, after they completed their open offer to acquire 26 per cent stake from the public shareholders. Currently company holds 60.95 per cent stake in the company.
