Adani Exports net dips to Rs 22.01 cr

Adani Exports, a BS 200 company, has posted a net profit of Rs 22.01 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2004, dwon from Rs 20.01 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2003. Total income increased to Rs 1,492.96 crore (Rs 791.92 crore).

Moser Baer net down to Rs 48.08 cr

Moser Baer India, a BS 200 company, has posted a net profit of Rs 48.08 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2004, down 22 per cent from Rs 61.66 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2003. Total income decreased to Rs 305.48 crore (Rs 312.79 crore).

Satnam Overseas net up 32% to Rs 3.45 cr

Branded food company Satnam Overseas Ltd, a BS 200 company, has reported a 32.6 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 3.45 crore in the first quarter this fiscal compared with Rs 2.6 crore in the year-ago period. However, net sales of the company, which markets basmati rice through 'Kohinoor' brand, declined 33 per cent to Rs 101.12 crore (Rs 158.84 crore). Profit before tax grew 36 per cent to Rs 3.95 crore (Rs 2.9 crore).

El Forge bottomline rises to Rs 73.66 lakh

Chennai-based automobile component manufacturer El Forge has reported a top line of Rs 16.90 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal, up 64.71 per cent from Rs 10.26 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Net profit jumped almost 17 times to Rs 73.66 lakh (Rs 4.17 lakh). V Srikanth, executive chairman, EL Forge said: "Two of our manufacturing units have obtained TS-16949 (2002) quality Certification from TUV(Germany) and Underwriter Laboratories (USA) signifying high level of International Quality Standards for its manufacturing operations. This will help in enhancing export potential for the company."
