Agro Tech Food FY11 net profit up 26.41% to Rs 31 cr

Food products marketing company Agro Tech Foods Ltd (ATFL) has said that its net profit in 2010-11 grew by 26.41% to Rs 31.78 crore.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 25.14 crore in the year-ago period, it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Total income of the company rose 10.40% to Rs 720.71 crore, as compared to Rs 652.77 crore in 2009-10.

AFTL is engaged in marketing food and food ingredients to consumers and institutional customers and is affiliated to ConAgra Foods Inc of USA.

Sundrop refined oil is its flagship brand. The company had last year sold its Vanaspati brand Rath to Cargill India.

Shares of the company had closed yesterday at Rs 358.80, which is down by 0.86% from its previous close at the BSE.
