Challenges in the changing economic environment
The theme of 30th National Management Convention of the All- India Management Association (AIMA), is "Winning Amidst Unexpected Unknowns."
The convention, organised in collaboration with the Delhi Management Association (DMA), will be inaugurated by the Deputy Prime Minister, LK Advani, on September 15.
About 1,000 professionals from industry and academia are expected to participate in the three-day convention, said Subir Raha,chairman of the convention and chairman-cum-managing director of Oil and Natural Gas Commission at a press conference this week.
"In today's scenario, existing management approaches may no longer be adequate to enable Indian companies to chart their future direction," he pointed out.
"Taking into account the challenges before managers today, AIMA has decided to deliberate on this critical theme through presentations by some of the best people in business," said AIMA President Uddesh Kohli.
