South-India based regional airline Air Costa has received the no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Civil Aviation for all-India operations. The airline will require a permit from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Vivek Choudhary, deputy CEO, said the airline will add an E190 (110 seater) this month to its fleet. This will be followed by an addition in February 2016 taking the total fleet to five aircrafts.
The airline has three Embraer aircraft now and hopes to add another two by February. The airline plans to link Delhi, Varanasi, Bhubaneshwar and Pune.
