About ten people will work at this centre to design and develop rapid deployment solutions for strategic areas in the aircraft maintenance industry, benefiting AFI KM E&M customers all around the world.
James Kornberg, director for Engineering & Maintenance Innovation at Air France-KLM, commented that the team which will be working at new lab in Singapore will be able to benefit from respective expertise of the two groups in support of their work.
The focus will be on priority topic identified by their strategic character, from wearable technology to optimisation and Big Data-linked applications, improving customer relations and streamlining and monitoring maintenance data and son.
Virender Aggarwal, CEO of Ramco Systems, said that the lab is strategically located in Singapore to leverage on the aviation industry presence and tap into multi-cultural, multi-lingual and multi-national talent pool in the country.
