Air India today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Commonwealth Organising Committee for being the Official Airline for the Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi in October 2010.
The airline thus earned the distinction of being the first Indian and global sponsoring company for the Commonwealth Games.
The MoU was signed by Chairman of Organising Committee Suresh Kalmadi and Air India Chairman and Managing Director Arvind Jadhav at a function in New Delhi.
