Air Slovakia will increase the number of its weekly flights from two to four from Amritsar airport, from July this year. While there was one flight a week each to the UK and Italy, now there will be two. |
"To improve the services of the airline, we have opened our branch office at Jalandhar," Managing Director Prince John said, adding the existing flights from Amritsar were almost full and accordingly the airline has decided to double its scheduled flights to Italy and the UK. |
He said as there were repeated complaints of offloading of passengers of Air Slovakia, the management had taken over direct control of its operations. A new head office has been established in Jalandhar for the purpose. |
He admitted that earlier local agents were booking more than the prescribed capacity by manipulating the system, which was causing the problem to passengers and adversely affecting the image of the Airline. |
"In future there will be no such problem at all, he assured adding that the air line had purchased four more planes for improving the service. |
"We are actively recruiting staff at all levels. Key attributes that all position need they must all be service focused and have a professional approach in dealing with clients," Prince John, managing director of the airline, said. |
