Air Works, the only established company in the country for maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft, said it had received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification for its engineering activities.
This would enable Air Works, with certification now to service corporate jets and the entire Boeing-737 family of planes, to cater to aircraft not just from India but anywhere in the world. The airplane strength in South Asia is only 600.
