The Kuala Lumpur – Trichy  additional flight frequencies will give immense benefit to Indian nationals working and living in Malaysia and across the region. Infact the airline launched its India service with a flight to Trichy in December 2008 and now flies to Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore and Kolkata as well.

Last year AirAsia pulled out of Mumbai and Delhi sector citing high airport tariff and poor passenger demand as the reason. The airline chief executive officer Tony Fernandes has ruled out operations to these two cities in its domestic network.
