AirAsia announces Bangalore-Kochi as its third route

Currently there are four daily flights on the route and some flights on certain days of the week

AirAsia has announced service between Bangalore-Kochi from July 20 with an inaugural all inclusive fare of Rs 500.

Bookings for the flight will open from Monday night and promotional fare will be valid for travel between July 20-October 25.

Currently there are four daily flights on the route and some flights on certain days of the week, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation website

"We are excited to announce our third destination Kochi, within a few days of our launch. We are very encouraged by the outstanding reception to our product and service. We have done a complete analysis on our third destination and we are confident we will be able to reach out to more first time fliers. We will stand by our promise to deliver a quality product to our guests that promises value for their money,'' AirAsia India CEO Mittu Chandilya said today.

 

AirAsia launched its domestic service with a Bangalore-Goa flight from June 12 and will start two daily flights between Bangalore-Chennai from July 19.
