AirTel launches Himachal helpline

AirTel has announced the launch of an innovative service in Himachal Pradesh, "AirTel HP Infoline".

A customer has only to call 703 and get town-wise information on a wide gamut of services including names and locations of retail outlets, industry associations, clubs and cultural associations, hotels, schools and colleges, manufacturers of various products, etc.

The call charges will be Rs 3 per minute and the service would be available from 10 am to 6 pm daily.

Vinod Sud, chief operating officer, AirTel HP, said: "The AirTel HP Infoline service is an excellent example of how the latest technology can be used not only to provide useful information and services to the Airtel customer, but also help boost the business of the trade and industry of the state."

Himachal Pradesh has an extensive infrastructure and facilities that could be of interest to tourists, farmers, and industry and trade within the state as well as over India.
