Airtel offers free incoming in Singapore during Formula 1

Country's leading telecom operator Bharti Airtel today announced its partnership with SingTel, a Singapore-based telecom operator to offer free incoming calls for five days to its customers visiting the country during the Formula 1 Grand Prix.     

The offer from Bharti is valid from September 25 to September 29.     

SingTel is the official sponsor of the Singapore Formula 1 championship to be held on September 28 in the island nation, the company statement said.     

All customers who are going to Singapore between that period will be able to avail this offer, however, the customers have to manually select the SingTel network in their handset while they are in the visiting country, it added .     

 

The offer is applicable for both prepaid and postpaid customers, the statement added.     

At present, the existing international roaming tariff for all incoming calls on the SingTel network is Rs 52 per minute for postpaid customers and Rs 50 for prepaid customers, it added.
