The agreement will enable both companies to interconnect their network infrastructure, to give them better network capabilities and provide advanced IP solutions to key business customers in the region.
Airtel and Pacnet also announced a special "Gateway to India"to offer high capacity International Private Line circuits between the United States and India. "Gateway to India" will be delivered in collaboration with Pacific Crossing and will leverage the strengths of each company's subsea assets to provide a fast, end-to-end connection for enterprise customers who have large capacity requirements between these markets.
