Akruti City net at Rs 72 cr

Real estate developer Akruti City (ACL) has posted a net profit of Rs 72.1 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2007 on a topline of Rs 131 crore in the same quarter.

Figures of the corresponding quarter in the previous year were not available as the company was listed in January 2007.

"Our expansion outside of Mumbai is continuing at a good clip and we have launched several new projects in Maharashtra and Gujarat. With the proposed infusion of capital from Private Equity players, the company is well on its way to continue to grow and deliver value to our stakeholders," said Vyomesh M Shah, managing director ACL.
