Allahabad Bank Q3 net rises 20% to Rs 42 cr

State-run lender Allahabad Bank today reported a 20.41 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 41.58 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

The bank had a net profit of Rs 34.53 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, Allahabad Bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

During the quarter, total income of the bank increased to Rs 311.30 crore, from Rs 244.72 crore, it said.
