Ambassador sales up 26% in June

Hindustan Motors today reported 26% increase in sales of its Ambassador model in June as compared to the same month last year.

The company sold 1,015 units in June 2005 as against 805 units in the same month last year, a company statement said.

In the first quarter, the company registered cumulative sales of 3,029 units, a growth of 19% compared to the same period last year, it added.

The company had recently launched CNG, Bharat Stage III compliant 'Ambassador Grand'.
