Cement major, Ambuja Cements today said its cement production in August stood at 14.18 lakh tonnes as against 12.08 lakh tonnes in the year-ago period.
Despatches in August this year stood at 14.29 lakh tonnes as against 12.39 lakh tonnes in the year-ago period, a press release issued here said.
For the January-August period this year, cement production saw an increase at 127.08 lakh tonnes as against 118.25 lakh tonnes in the year-ago period.
Despatches stood at 127.30 lakh tonnes in the same period as against 118.26 lakh tonnes in the year-ago period, the release said.
