Cement maker Ambuja Cements today said it has produced 19.15 lakh tonnes in March 2010 as against 17.40 lakh tonnes in the same month last year.
"The dispatches in March 2010 stood at 19.16 lakh tonnes as against 17.24 lakh tonnes in the same period last year," a statement issued by the company here said.
On a cumulative basis, from January to March, the production was at 53.36 lakh tonnes as against 49.59 lakh tonnes in the same period last year.
While dispatches in the same period stood at 53.53 lakh tonnes as against 49.99-lakh in the same period a year ago, it said.
