Amtek India to buy out UK-based firm

Amtek India's board to consider the acquisition of 100% controlling stake of UK based Sigma Cast Group having one subsidiary namely Sigma Cast Iron at their meeting to be held on February 07, 2005.

As per the release issued to the BSE, the Sigma Cast Group is engaged in the business of manufacturing of auto casting components and has its manufacturing facility at TIPTON, near Birmingham in UK.

The release added that the Sigma Cast Group is one of the largest supplier of turbo charger components for automobile in the world.
