Direct selling company Amway today said it has set a target of Rs 2,500-crore sales turnover from India by 2012.
For a company, with an year-on-year growth rate of 25 per cent, the Rs 2,500-crore target of sales turnover was easily achievable, Amway Senior Vice-President Rajneesh Chopra told reporters here.
The company had a turnover of Rs 1,407 crore in 2009, with Tamil Nadu alone contributing Rs 257 crore.
Amway produces 85 per cent of its 115 products at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh, particularly nutritious products, Which constituted 55 per cent of the portfolio.
The firm has recently invested Rs 55 crore, Chopra said.
