Is this a test marketing exercise for Columbia Tristar? The Hollywood giant has been turning its lens in different directions in a bid to make a mark in Indian cinema. But nobody expected it to make its maiden foray onto the Indian big screen by backing a low-budget Bengali movie by a relatively unknown director and middle-level stars. Columbia Tristar will distribute the movie.
