Andhra Bank Q2 net rises 4% to Rs 316 cr

Andhra Bank reported a net profit of Rs 316.1 crore for the quarter ended September 2011. This marks a 4.3% growth from Rs 303 crore in September 2010.

Total income also rose 39% to Rs 2,960.3 crore from Rs 2,132.3 crore in the year-ago period.

The lender's stock was trading flat during afternoon trade at Rs 120 on Bombay Stock Exchange.
