Angel funding for PosterGully

PosterGully, a curated marketplace for artists and designers has raised a round of angel funding led by Natarajan Iyer, a former consultant with Egon Zehnder, through LetsVenture, a platform that enables start-ups raise angel and seed funding.

AdStringO raises $350,000
Indian Angel Network has invested $350,000 in AdStringO Software, which provides data compression software helping firms reach rural customers over mobile networks. This round was led by Arihant Patni, Vishal Khare and Viswanath Ramachandran.

BigBasket buys Delyver
Online grocery retailer BigBasket.com, owned by Bengaluru-based SuperMarket Grocery Supplies, has acquired local delivery start-up Delyver in a cash-and-stock deal. This will allow BigBasket to deliver quickly in Bengaluru.
 
LetsTransport.in acquires Shifter
Bengaluru-based LetsTransport.in, a very early-stage start-up engaged in truck-hiring services, has acquired Shifter, also from Bengaluru, in an all-cash deal. LetsTransport plans to leverage the consumer-facing capabilities of six-month-old Shifter, a mini-truck procurement service available online or on call.

Guiddo gets funding
Guiddoo, a travel tech start-up that has a mobile app with the same name, has raised seed funding from angel investors. Investors include Pawan Borle, senior vice-president, Fly Dubai; Abrar Ahmad, partner at Travel Capitalist Ventures; Nirmal Singh, Sanjay Shah; and Ushik Gala, who are chartered accountants.

Aspada invests in EM3 AgriServices
George Soros-backed Aspada Investment Company has made a commitment of initially investing Rs 20 crore ($3.3 Million) to Delhi-based EM3 AgriServices, which provides on-farm services and agricultural machines on a 'pay-for-use' basis.

Medwell Ventures raises $10 mn
Medwell Ventures, the operator of Nightingales speciality home healthcare services in India, has raised $10 million (around Rs 63 crore) in a Series-A round of funding. Investors include Fidelity Growth Partners India and Fidelity Biosciences, Boston. Earlier, Medwell had raised $4 million in seed funding.
