Sales bookings of realty firm Ansal Properties and Infrastructure Ltd fell by 4% in the first half of this fiscal at Rs 1,288.3 crore, even though realisation per sq ft improved during the period.
The company's sales bookings stood at Rs 1,343.4 crore in the year-ago period, according to latest operational update.
In terms of volume, the sales fell to 8.66 million sq ft during April-September period of 2012-13 fiscal against 11.16 million sq ft in the corresponding period of last fiscal.
However, the sales realisation per sq ft improved to Rs 1,487 during the first half of this fiscal, from Rs 1,203 in the year-ago period.
The national-capital based firm has real estate projects in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana. Housing segment contributes bulk of the sales bookings.
