Apollo Heath & Lifestyle Ltd (AHLL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Apollo Group of Hospitals, plans to expand the network of its franchised day-to-day healthcare centres 'The Apollo Clinic' in Gujarat.

The company would initially set up 12 franchise clinics in towns like Amreli, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Himatnagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Mehsana, Navsari, Porbandar, Vadodara, Valsad and Vapi.

This is in addition to over 70 franchisees appointed all over India of which more than 50 clinics are already operational while others are in various stages of completion.

Ratan Jalan, CEO, Apollo Health and Lifestyle, said, "We have undertaken comprehensive market visits to assess the quality of healthcare infrastructure in these cities in Gujarat and have found that there is a dearth of good medical set-ups in the primary healthcare arena. The Apollo Clinics aim to bridge this demand-supply gap by offering customers quality day-to-day healthcare services under one roof, at affordable prices," he said.
