Apollo Hospitals FY06 net up 35%

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has posted 35% rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 52 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 when compared with Rs 38.4 crore for FY05.

According to an official release issued today, total income has increased to Rs 779.1 crore for FY06 from Rs 662.1 crore in FY05. The company has posted a net profit of Rs 12.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 12.4 crore for Q4FY05. Total income has increased to Rs 195.1 crore for Q4FY06 from Rs 156.8 crore in Q4FY05.

The board has recommended a dividend of 45%, i.e. Rs 4.50 per share.
