The Pratap C Reddy-promoted Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd has entered into a joint venture agreement with the Dubai-based Belhoul Group of Companies to set up the Belhoul Apollo Hospital in Dubai.
The 60-bed Belhoul Apollo Hospital built over an area of 1,40,000 square feet will begin operations in the second week of December. While the investment in the construction of the hospital has been done by Juma Belhoul, a doctor of Dubai and the chairman of the Belhoul Group, Apollo will be responsible for the management and functioning of the hospital.
The Belhoul Group has incurred a cost of close to $35 million in setting up the hospital.
