Apollo Hospitals Q1 net up 30% at Rs 51 cr

Healthcare major Apollo Hospitals today said its net profit rose by 30.55% to Rs 51.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011, over the same period previous fiscal.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 39.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Total income of the company rose to Rs 641.01 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 as against Rs 523.29 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.

Shares of Apollo Hospitals were today trading at Rs 513 in the late afternoon trade on BSE, down 0.46% from previous close.
