Apollo Hospitals Q2 net up 11%

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise today reported a 11% increase in net profit at Rs 16.90 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 as against Rs 15.20 crore in Q2FY05.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 182.40 crore in Q2FY06 from Rs 154.80 crore in Q2FY05.

"The company has posted a net profit of Rs 30.90 crore for the half-year ended September 30, 2005 as against Rs 25.70 croe for the half-year ended September 30, 2004. Total income increased to Rs 339.80 crore for the half-year ended September 30, 2005 from Rs 289.60 crore in H1FY05," the release added.
